We’re proud to share that The Spot Bouldering Gym in Denver, Colorado, has received the Westword Reader’s Choice Award for Best Climbing Gym 2024! As the designer of the facility, it’s incredibly rewarding to see the gym thriving and being recognized for its excellence.

The goal in designing The Spot was to create a strong foundation for a climbing community to grow—a space that encourages connection, challenges climbers of all levels, and fosters a sense of belonging. Every design choice was made with these principles in mind, ensuring the gym could meet the needs of its members and staff.

This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of The Spot’s team and the vibrant climbing community in Denver. They’ve taken the design and built something truly special, and it’s inspiring to see their success.
